Aston Martin

The name of Aston Martin appears for the first time in 1914 on the radiator of a car of the company Bamford & Martin Ltd, founded a year before. Its origin is very simple: on the one hand we have the surname of one of its founders (Lionel Martin) and on the other, the name of the competition in which, he himself as a driver, won the first race with a car of his own company (the famous Aston-Clinton mountain race of 1913).
